Inspect the Anal region.

If nothing abnormal, it is usually worm infestation i.e E Vermicularis- Typically itches at night.

Tab. MEBEX 100mg 1 bd x 3 or

Tab. BENDEX 400mg 1 stat or

Tab. COMBANTRIN 3 stat.

Tab. Abil 25 mg 1 HS and SOS

Cut the nails short.

Treat all family member together.

If Taeniasis – hyper pigmented round and spreading lesions

Cloben Ointment locally (Clotrimazole)

Tab. Gris OD 1 daily x 21

Tab. Avil 25 mg 1 tds if itching

If Fistula-in-ano withpurulent discharge:

Refer to a surgeon for operation.

If there is no visible cause:

Tab. CZ-3 1 OD.

Avoid scratching. Cut nails short.

Wear loose cotton underwear.

Clean properly after defaecation with water. Keep dry.
